Conflict #1

Conflict #1; 5/16/13
Type of Conflict: Work
Persons Involved: Myself, Person A
Scenario: As a trainer at work, I was working with our most recent set of new hire employees. While training, Person A was adding opinions and suggestions to my training without being prompted or asked, thus undermining my authority.
Resolution: I removed myself and the new hire employees from the area that Person A was in order to continue training.
What would/could/should I have done differently: I could have had a follow up conversation with Person A in order to show where I was coming from with the whole situation and why I thought it was conflict.
